LightHawk Flights Nov 11, 2017
First off, you need to view this on a real computer with a real screen. Now put your flimsy iPhone away!
LightHawk asked for video along the Atlantic coast (CT, RI, MA, NH) for the Surfrider Foundation USA.
This is my flight from my home base, Morristown, NJ, to Portsmouth, NH. This is covered almost completely by clip 1 and is the first coastline flight of the day:
These are two clips on the reverse route, from Portsmouth, NH, back home. They focus on the estuary area, that is the coastline in NH, and the coastal area of Boston:
Here are the maps (thanks Mathematica, for basically giving us a map API):
Here are more detailed maps that show what you see in clips 2 and 3, that is the estuary section at the coastline along NH and in front of Boston that LightHawk / Surfrider Foundation USA requested. The topographical map actually shows the estuary section quite well, it's the flat section at the coastline at the top of the map:
I descended below 2000 ft. as I was passing by Boston, as I stayed under the 2000-ft. ring under class B airspace:
